Activity description:
- Here are some yoga poses that children and adults can do together!
Boat post: Balance on your bottom with your legs in the air.
Bow pose: Lie on your tummy, bend your knees, lift your chest and with your arms reached back toward your toes, hold onto your feet.
Butterfly pose: Sit on your bottom with the soles of your feet together. Gently flap your legs like the wings of a butterfly.
Cat pose: Position yourself on all-fours, round your back and tuck your chin into your chest.
Child’s pose: Sit on your heels, rest your forehead in front of your knees, rest your arms along the side of your body and take a few deep breaths.
Dolphin pose: On your hands-and-knees, bend your elbows, rest your forearms on the ground, with your palms flat. Lift up your knees to straighten your legs.
Happy Baby pose: Lie on your back with your chin tucked in, hug your knees into your chest, then grab the outer part of your feet with both of your hands.
Tree pose: Stand on one leg, bend your knee and place the sole of your foot on your inner thigh. Try to balance.
