Activity description:
- Designate one child to be the zookeeper.
- The zookeeper identifies and animal and everyone moves around the room like that animal.
- When the zookeeper says “feeding time!”, the children run on the spot until a new animal is called.
- Change zookeepers frequently.

- Physical skills: running; coordination; spatial awareness
- Non-physical skills: listening and following instructions; creative play; self-discovery; animal identification
Adjust the challenge:
- Have children march on the spot rather than run.
