Dance and Sit

Space requirements: On-the-spot, small space, open space

Activity description:

Children dance to music.
When the music stops, children stop dancing and sit on the ground.
When the music comes back on, children stand and start dancing again.

Physical skills: full body movement; coordination; rhythm
Non-physical skills: listening and following instructions; creative play; self-discovery

Adjust the challenge:

Have the children dance more vigorously
