Activity description:
- With your child, sit on the floor facing each other with both of your legs apart in a “V” shape.
- Roll a ball back and forth to each other, trying to keep it in between your legs and on the ground.
Skill development:
- Physical skills: rolling an object; stopping an object; eye-hand coordination
- Non-physical skills: self-discovery; critical thinking
Adjust the challenge:
- Start with a larger ball that is easier to roll and catch.
- Progress to a smaller ball that requires more coordination to roll and catch.
